Physical Data: Family: Personality: Did not want to go into command. Symbiont has already been in command. Wants to go on science expedition to new worlds to expand knowledge and experience. But has a light grudge against the Romulans (memories from a prior host). Likes to feel that he knows more than his enemy. That's why he wants to go into Shadow Ops. Will treat people with respect, especially those with rank because he knows what it takes just to get a high rank in Starfleet. Can be a very good analytical thinker. He loves life, he has a slight problem with being in command. Technically he can do the job, but because of the experience of a previous host, the responsibility might be too high for him to carry. He's overall a fairly nice guy who just wants to do what's best for people. The loss of his team members have hardened him against loss, and the shadows have hardened him to be a vicious killer when need be. Description: History: Mavek (2192-2263) Male, statesman in Trill council, later retired and participated as a symbiont caretaker and initiator. Became a respected botany geneticist. Has kids and grandkids. Died in bontany retreat accident. Janara (2263-2304) Female, Level 8 Starfleet fighter pilot (one of the very few to pilot a starship like a fighter), Commander in rank on U.S.S. Lexington. Died while escaping a Romulan prison Tayna (2304-2371) Female, ambassador select from Trill to Vulcan, has kids and grandkids, died of old age Kyril (2371-) Male, Starfleet academy graduate, science and stellar exploration specialization History of Kyril: At the time, the Klingons had closed their borders to the Federation, and it began to look like the next war was going to be against the Klingon Empire. The Arcanus Sector became a major hub for incoming and outgoing ships patrolling the area, and minor skirmishes. After his first mission with Bravo EpSeven, he was promoted to lieutenant commander, a two grade promotion which also gave him the status of team leader. The team was assigned the newly commissioned Defiant-class starship U.S.S. Intruder as their mode of transportation. The Intruder was the third Defiant-class starship built after the Defiant and the Repulse. By that time, the Federation and Klingon Empire had formed a treaty that would bond them together to mutually fight against the Cardassians who were annexed by the Dominion. As missions progressed, a previous host's memories and spirit began to resurface. Janara, Vree's third host, was violently tortured by the Romulans, and her new presence was the direct result of Ky also being in Starfleet and accepting his promotions. He began reliving her past in violent visions that came whenever he felt vulnerable. His used meditation to suppress the memories and soul that was attempting to resurface fully. Ky was temporary assigned command of the Intruder when Argonne Jasid, the CO at the time, was injured in a terrorist bombing, and was ordered to take his team to pursue the terrorists to the border world of Reyathlon IV (Cutter's World) outside the Federation. This was where Ky discovered that Vree's second host was still alive. Mavek and his 9 year great granddaughter, Linsayla, were left stranded on the mercenary world when pirates hijacked their transport shuttle. Nine years later, Linsayla was supporting them by taking a job as a singer, and a courtesan for the Consortium pirate, Saalma. Ky was able to extract them both from Cutter's World, and have them transported to Trill to be reunited with their families. Finding Mavek alive gave Ky a profound insight to the dark and hidden side of the Symbiosis Commission. His loyalty to them teetered as his doubts of their sincerity and truth grew. Upon returning to Federation space, they received the horrifying news of the destruction of their headquarters and training compound on Earth by a Jem'Hadar strike team. Shadow Operations was in disarray until their headquarters could be rebuilt at a new top secret location. By the end of his first year with Bravo EpSeven, the Dominion threat had increased in the Alpha Quadrant. The Bajoran space station, Deep Space Nine, had fallen to the Dominion, but the wormhole was successfully mined to prevent Jem'Hadar reinforcements. On a mission to clear the Etrades Passage, Bravo EpSeven discovered a new breed of Jem'Hadar soldiers that were being produced within the Alpha Quadrant. Ky was the first to encounter them in hand to hand combat. The full biological scans he brought back became vital information to Starfleet. Soon thereafter, a combined fleet of 87 Dominion and Cardassian ships surprised the tactical wing at EpSeven. Bravo EpSeven was assigned to protect the station and fleet's flag officers. The battle was bitter, but victorious. The team repelled waves of Jem'Hadar and Cardassian boarders, but at a great price. EpSeven Operations was destroyed, hundreds of people were killed, and the station was heavily damaged. Ky had also sustained second degree burns all along his back when he threw himself over the admiral to protect him from a proton incendiary grenade that exploded 10 feet away. The wounds to his entire backside caused the hair growing back to be stark white. He has since styled his hair similar to a Trill Citadel renegade, those who were shunned from the Trill community when they survive a rejection from a symbiont joining. His bravery earned him a promotion to full commander, and a commendation was presented to his team. At that announcement, Ky suffered a violent trauma as Janara's presence resurfaced within him. Her "ghost" was now within him as he attempted to make peace with her soul until he can confront her at his approaching zhian'tara - the Trill rite of passage. While on routine patrol, the Intruder was flung into the Delta Quadrant by the nefarious entity known as Q. They were forced to be prey for a hunter species, the Hirogen. They came back to the Alpha Quadrant to learn that Deep Space Nine had been retaken by Starfleet. This caused a lull in the war, which provided Ky the opportunity to perform his zhian'tara. To his surprise, Mavek's great-grand daughter Linsayla appeared on the station, searching for him. Mavek had finally passed away, and her timely arrival gave HER the opportunity to "speak" with Mavek when he was still joined. Ky allowed her to be present when Mavek's spirit was temporarily hosted. A few days later, Ky finally confronted Janara Vree and had finally settled differences. Ky began to live his own life again. The departure of Janara's spirit left him slightly altered. Unknown to him, he had acquired the natural reflexes and skills Janara had as a pilot, giving him the equivalent ability and skill as a Level 7 pilot. Bravo Epsilon Seven earned another commendation upon rescuing 187 POWs from a Cardassian forced labor camp, including Admirals Alynna Nechayev and Edward Jellico. At this same installation, the team also rescued POW children, and Ky discovered a young Trill child he had met after the terrorist bombing of EpSeven's Future's End. Her parents were killed in front of her and she was traumatized. Ky took it upon himself to take care of her until she could be returned to Trill. After this last mission, the team was given a 30 day shore leave, giving Ky the opportunity to take Mayla to Trill. This also gave him a chance to visit his own family whom he hadn't seen in two years. After waiting several days for any relateive to claim her, he adopted Mayla, and married Linsayla. After their mission to the Dominion held planet of Betazed to destroy a communications outpost, Mayla had taken ill. Later on, they figure out that she had been genetically engineered using Draconian techniques to create the ultimate warrior. In a desperate attempt to save her life, Vree's memory engrams were copied into Mayla. The next few days had been hell on Ky. When she awoke, she had now BECOME Vree, and her body's genetic structure changed to accomodate all the experiences and abilities Vree had attained over the years. This unique characteristic of a Trill was not unoticed, and apparently, known by a few people. Ky and his family had been paid a visit by the Consortium. In the guise of a Starfleet transfer, they attempted to kidnap young Mayla. The plot was foiled and they find that the Consortium had been hired by the Dominion to apprehend her. Upon returning from a joint mission with the Romulan Tal Shiar (led by former Bravo EpSeven operative T'Pru), Bravo Squad received the Starfleet Medal of Honor. But T'Pru's parting words affected Ky more than he knew. She provided him a short visual log of an 'interrogation' session of Janara Vree. Adapting to Mayla's change had affected him, giving himself insight into Vree. Within a few weeks, Mayla decides to join Starfleet Academy, but at the age of 10. She had passed her qualifications test and went to San Francisco for one year prep school before officially joining Starfleet Academy After a slight lull in missions and duties, the Intruder was called to Earth on an inspection of the new stealth coating. Just as they were leaving for EpSeven, the Breen launched a surprise attack at Starfleet Headquarters. The Intruder quickly returned and helped dispatch the attacking Breen ships. The Intruder crew receives a special commendation for their involvement. Mayla had unfortunately performed some actions during the attack that caused her to be expelled from the Academy until a later date. She was taken home with Ky. Soon thereafter, Ky received information on the Osiris Project - the experiments that were performed to produce a genetically enhanced Trill soldier, a Trill Minstrel. Mayla was one such result. Physical Data: Family: Description: Well toned but not heavily muscled, strong with high endurance (Argonne also likes high-intensity endurance running to counteract sitting on his ass all day in front of a computer) He is intelligent, fairly logical but prone to impulsiveness and strange ideas. History: Argonne Jasid was born to a couple serving on the USS Enterprise-C, the one before Picard's Enterprise. His father was an NCO and his mother was a psychiatrist working in Sick Bay. Argonne was born on the Enterprise-C and spent the first three years of his life there. Then, while his parents took him home on leave for his first visit, Argonne's folks got word that the Enterprise was missing near Klingon space. Later, it was learned the ship was destroyed by the Romulans while defending a Klingon outpost on Nerendra III. Salnera resigned from Starfleet and remained home to care for Argonne while his father was reassigned to another ship. Growing up, Argonne's mother became friends with the Klingon ambassador, so he got to know a great deal of Klingon culture. Argonne's best friend while growing up was a Klingon named Toq, the ambassador's son, who taught him his language. When Argonne was old enough he too joined Starfleet. He went to the Academy and studied engineering and computers. After graduating he was posted to several different starships over the years, the most interesting of which was the USS Melbourne. Then, the Borg attacked and the ship was deployed to Wolf 359 where Starfleet made its stand against the invaders. After a fierce battle the Melbourne was severely damaged and Argonne was one of only 50 crew members to escape in life pods before the ship was destroyed. Once the Borg threat ended, Argonne hopped around to several other posts for the next five years, his most recent assignment being chief engineer of the new Starbase 290. Then, a few months ago at the height of the was between the Klingon Empire and the Federation over the Arcanus sector, Jasid was recruited for a secret mission with Shadow Operations, an ultra-secret branch of Starfleet Intelligence. The mission involved hacking into a Klingon computer database to retrieve information about Chancellor Gowron. Jasid was successful and caught the eye of Shadow Ops, so they recruited him permanently.
Physical Data: Family: Personality: Tam is a very mellow character, though very effective. A man with a sense of humor, he would rather deal with a problem mentally than have to duke it out. However, when the chips are down, he can ALWAYS be counted on to help his comrades and always finishes a mission. He is sensitive, but to a point. He understands the needs of others, but doesn't like -- or tolerate -- cry babies. He has no problem helping anyone with anything, but if they're just trying to make him do their work, he'll have something to say. Universally likable, Tam only "hates" a few people -- people who have proven themselves to be weenies in the past. Description: Tam is 6'1", 210, brown hair, brown eyes and is a joined Trill. His symbiont's name is Cala. Off duty, Tam wears the basics: t-shirts and comfy pants. Nothing exciting, nothing weird. History: Tam and Cala were joined in Tam's early 20s, one of a few Trill who have joined so young. Cala has had seven hosts in the past. Tam also hates the Borg, who assimilated his wife (Murta) during the battle of Wolf 359. Though probably killed when the Borg ship was destroyed over Earth, he always wonders/worries if he will ever find her again. Tam is trained in counter espionage and is an expert shot with phasers, dirsuptors and most other types of ordinance hardware. He is also a computer expert. Tam is a horrible pilot and would probably fly a star ship into a moon.
Physical Data: Family: 2 parents, 1 younger sister Personality: I Understand both sides of my culture well (human and Klingon). I sometimes acts rash, but I usually have a straight head. I like to program computers, and do alot of "hacking", but I extremely dislike tribbles. I usually act more on my human side, since I live on Earth, but I can act like a Klingon easily, which is why I signed up for ShadowOps Description: I look alot more like my mother's side of the family (Klingon). Sometimes I can intimidate other people very easily. It is hard for me to be accepted into Human society, but I have learned to ignore some of the insults and taunts. Usually on my off duty shift I like to wear the general civilian garb worn on earth. History: My father was a Starfleet officer who was on the USS Intrepid which responded to the distress call from Khitomer more than 30 years ago. He rescued my mother at Khitomer. Soon after they fell in love, got married, and had me. I went to many of the special schools for the gifted on Earth, because of my good understanding of science. I have received many awards for science, such as the Montgomery Scott award. My parents insisted that I learn both sides of my cultures so I could hopefully become a diplomat/ambassador. I didn't want to be a diplomat, so I enlisted in the other job that can use these skills (espionage). I am hoping that I will be posted on an outpost somewhere near Klingon space, so that I can use my Klingon culture to the best of it's ability.
Physical Data: Family: Personality: Easy going, Will only use violence if he feels it is needed, If he finds a problem will usually try to think out of it logically but if people he loves are involved the his emotions will kick in. He does not like Cardasians much as one killed his wife. He finds it hard to make friends easily. Description: Off duty usually wears black clothing. Looks more like a thinker who stays in the background during fights than someone who jumps in with guns blazing. History: Hard childhood on Earth due to disciplines from the Vulcan mind training whiles trying to interact with other human children. Grew up and wanted to get away from the area and environment that his parents lived in therefore went into Starfleet. His wife was on a world close to the Cardassian Empire that was taken over and she was killed. He felt he needed to pay the Cardassians back for what they did to his wife so joined the Shadow Ops unit.
Physical Data: Family: Personality: As a Vulcan, Sybuna'k does not necessarily feel emotions. He does however, somewhat admire humanity's adventuresome, innovative spirit. Despite this, he is very solemn and serious, and does not interact with other people well. You could say Sybuna'k is a loner. Description: Sybuna'k is pretty much average height and build, and has features prevalent in Vulcans. When off duty, he doesn't do much of anything that merits interest. History: Sybuna'k attended Starfleet Academy from Stardate 9009.9 to 9505.23. During this time, his father (Captain Spiinak) and the crew of the USS Gabriel Bell were lost in an incident with the Romulans. His mother, Comdr. T'Pi, was killed in the Battle of Wolf 359, while serving aboard the USS Kyushu as its first officer. Sybuna'k was recruited for Shadow Operations quickly after graduating the Academy, as he was considered one of the top new officers to come out of the year of '95.
Physical Data: Family: None Personality: (how the character acts, feels, likes, dislikes, etc.) A great fan of the twentieth century, particularly the Ghetto culture of the 90's. Listens to old Rap and Hip Hop music. Carries a modified disruptor at all times. A bit of a swashbuckler but not stupid. Tends to be aggressive if threatened. Slightly vain. Description: (What you look like? What clothing do you wear off duty? etc.) Likes to wear black silk. Baggy pants and a black smock or jumpsuit. Always carries disruptor on a belt harness. This coupled with his outlandish clothing gives him the look of a pirate. History: (develop a good background for your character, but keep it brief and to the point) Mother and Sister killed in shuttle crash. Father killed defending his Trader ship Taken on by covert Starfleet ops as young boy. Little memory of young life. Used on many pirate missions so it has rubbed off on him a bit. Close combat expert. More familiar with non Starfleet disruptor than a phaser. The weapon was his fathers who used it for protection as he ran the dangerous shipping routes on the edge of Federation space. It is modified for maximum damage at close range (up to about ten meters) but looses power after that.
Height: 6' 1" Father: Michael Tran Personality: Tran is a very short-tempered person, but is modest and hates to brag. He likes to play tennis on the holodeck & likes some R & R. Tran dislikes people who give up too easily and whinny people. Description: Medium to a large built person. Off duty he likes to wear a loose jumpsuit, but nothing constricting. And when possible no shoes. History: When he got out of Starfleet Academy several months ago, he piloted jumpers on planets in the Arcanus sector that needed supplies because of the Klingon attacks. He graduated third in his class.
Physical Data: Family: Personality: Per SFA profiling, Halloway is known to be highly intelligent (major course studies in Mathematics and Astrophysics) yet humorous and friendly with her co-workers. Her humor runs towards the biting edge, and she has been known to anger those who are unfamiliar with her. She suffers some guilt - her parents and younger sister were killed when the Borg destroyed the Ruston Colony while she was away at the Academy. Halloway enjoys participation in the fine arts, and dislikes being treated differently simply because she is female. Description: When off-duty, Halloway can normally be found exercising or practicing her hand to hand combat skills. She is a strikingly pretty woman who has earned the respect of her comrades through her abilities and her dedication to Starfleet and the principles of the Federation. Typical off-duty wear consists of a blue or green leisure jumpsuit, red hair pulled back into a ponytail. History: Carey was born and raised on Ruston Colony, Ep. Eridani III to colonist farmers. Carey attended the colony schools, and probably would have become a farmer herself had it not been for a Starfleet Recruiting Officer who happened to visit the colony. Carey took the SFA entrance exams and her mathematics skills were in the upper 5%. She reluctantly left to attend the Academy, and shortly thereafter Ruston Colony was destroyed. Carey became interested in Shadow Ops for a very selfish reason - she believed it was the only branch of Starfleet in which she could pursue her goal of destroying the Borg.
Physical Data: Family: Personality: (how the character acts, feels, likes, dislikes, etc.) - Self-assured to the point of being cocky sometimes, especially when under pressure. A general sense of restrained hyperactivity at times. Wants to go "out there", out into space, just so he can see what's out there. Interest in Shadow Ops: a chance for excitement, perhaps a bit of living on the edge. Fiercely loyal to the group he's in: his class, his shipmates, Star Fleet... Description: (What you look like? What clothing do you wear off duty? etc.) Tends to dress casually. Will dress in cool weather in what others may deem inappropriate -- he'll be in shirtsleeves when others are getting their jackets. (He's used to a cold climate.) He has a fondness for Klingon opera. History: (develop a good background for
your character, but keep it brief and to the point)
Physical Data Family: Bryce, well-known as medical
researchers, but only on Draconis or within the Federation medical community. Personality: Bryce is outgoing and friendly, not at all like most Draconians, who tend to be guarded and suspicious of strangers. He is rather quiet and not very talkative, preferring to speak simply and to the point. He is very constant in his views, and unlikely to change his opinion of something unless he has seen direct evidence to contradict his judgement. He feels truly blessed to be living in this time, and likes the idea of serving the Federation and seeing new worlds and people. He likes learning alien languages, and has already mastered Vulcan and Klingon, speaking (and cursing!) fluently. He dislikes the reality which makes Shadow Ops a necessity, but understands its necessity as well. He especially dislikes the security measures Starfleet has imposed due to the Dominion's activities. Description: Bryce is medium height and build, without distinguishing features, scars, moles or other easily identifiable marks. His voice is equally plain, without a remarkable accent, drawl or lisp. In appearance he matches what the CIA likes to call "Gray men," individuals who are so unremarkable in appearance as to be forgettable. History: Jackson Bryce was born ten months after his parents "second honeymoon." They had little time for him due to their researches, and this is probably why he was never interested in joining the medical community of Draconis, even though the planet is noted for being the leading research center in the Federation. He spent his time learning to sneak around the labs and buildings, constantly getting into trouble with the engineering staff. After one particular episode, one of the technicians took him under her wing and started teaching him linguistics. When she died due to sabotage, Bryce vowed to avenge her, threw himself into security work, and was instrumental in uncovering the recurring sabotage (mostly due to his familiarity with the buildings). Finding him good at the work, one of the Investigators suggested he enroll in the pre-screening for the Draconian Forces. His parents absolutely forbade this, but he went and enrolled anyway, scoring high enough to be recommended to Starfleet instead. He passed the Academy entrance exam, and went into Security where he found numerous other Draconians teaching the classes. They rekindled his interest in the Draconian fighting forms (similar to the Klingon mockba and Terran Shaolin), and truly fired his interest in forensics. In his final year at the academy, he was teaching the beginning Klingon classes for the underclassmen, and routinely winning 'search and rescue' competitions. Upon graduating he was offered a chance to join Shadow Ops and jumped at the chance. Jackson is descended from a Minstrel, and is known by the epithet of "Minstrel-kin" on Draconis. There is great fear and prejudice still remaining against those genetically enhanced, and many Minstrel-kin have been subjected to criminal acts and violations of civil liberties despite guarantees in the Federation and Draconian legal charters. Draconis is notorious for being a world that had numerous Eugenics wars, and genetically enhanced super-soldiers, known as Minstrels. At the beginning of the last Eugenics war, most of the Minstrels were hunted down and killed by the Draconian people, but many of them escaped and lived in hiding. Many of them married and intermingled with the population, resulting in genetically enhanced children. Planetary History: Sigma Draconis was the third habitable planet with indigenous humans that was discovered by Terrans. Upon arrival in the Draconis system, the Terrans found an interplanetary war in full swing. Once convinced the Terrans were actually from another star system, the Draconians put aside their vicious ways in favor of exploring the galaxy. Much of the current understanding of medicine and tactics in the Federation is largely due to the efforts of the Draconians. They never had a dark ages, but were quite adept at warfare, fighting on an almost constant basis, due to the planet's lack of seasonal variation (Sigma Draconis 4 has an axial tilt of only 5 degrees, compare to Earth's tilt of 24 degrees). Because the world's doctors' had a constant and ready supply of maimed, injured or dead bodies, medical endeavors made truly awesome strides. Once the Federation was formed, Draconis became one of the charter members, and has always stood by, ready to render any aid required. They are well aware that if it hadn't been for that first contact, they would still be alone in their own system, fighting another in a long history of battles. Game History: Bryce discovered a changeling onboard the personnel transport taking him to his assignment on Starbase Epsilon Seven. Once he arrived, he reported to the command staff, and was thoroughly screened by the security and medical staff, where he met Khymas Towens (His Dependent Non-Player Character), his future wife. He reported to Bravo Epsilon Seven, and his first mission was rescuing the miners and researchers from an outpost surrounded by Klingons. Another player-character died in front of him on this mission, and Bryce barely escaped himself. He went with Ky to explain this and met with some of the symbiont commision. He was able to choose a symbiont for joining and met the future host. On his second mission they went and saved the Romulan Empire from a Borg attack. Using the Captured Admirals knowledge of the Borg systems and protocols, Bryce was able to devise a plan of attack which helped turn the tide against the Borg. The third mission came to us as the starbase itself was sabotaged and trilithium was stolen from the reactor core. Bryce led a small group of Shadow Ops personnel into Engineering and helped resecure the area. He was censured for being insubordinate due to a decided lack of communication with Station Security. The fourth mission was an undercover sting devised to regain or destroy the stolen trilithium. Operating as mercenaries, Bryce led a small team and joined with the terrorists who had originally stolen the trilithium from Epsilon Seven. Together they stole more trilithium, destroyed the Klingon general who requested the stuff in the first place, captured or killed all the terrorists, Lost an important member of the team, and rescued Ky from the Orion pirates acting as middlemen to the entire crowd. Bryce received a Silver Star for this mission. (I decided to make that a Very Important Draconian icon, the Third Name. The Silver Star refers to the southern polar star as seen in the Draconian night sky. It guided many travellers and refugees from the northern continent to the southern shores, and further south to the Twillaren valley, a very well defended mountain valley.)
Physical Data: Family: Original family unknown. Adopted
by Federation Officer. Personality: For the most part I am a typical Vulcan, emotionless, logical, etc. Except I do struggle with feelings of abandonment and a desire to know more about my parents, my origins, and the cause of death on the cargo ship (even why I was on a Bajoran cargo ship). However I would never admit that I have such a "desire". I often play chess, read classical poetry, and drink that green brandy (the one Scotty always had on the old series). I also study several human and Vulcan martial arts. Description: I am short for a Vulcan, with an odd head of red hair (unusual for a Vulcan). I have a medium build. I general dress casual, in either human clothes or Vulcan attire. On occassion I will dress in Klingon regalia if practicing their martial arts.
Age: oh, a good young age for a
Romulan--40? Physical Data: Family: none Personality: T'Pru is intense, focused, and passionate. She's also pretty nervous most of the time, a fear which she covers with an attitude of calm Vulcan condescension. She's been thoroughly indoctrinated with Romulan propaganda, and firmly believes that Romulans are the master race and all other, lesser species are conspiring to destroy them. However, despite herself, she's fascinated by the energy and diversity of Federation culture. Description: T'Pru has chiseled Romulan features, including the upswept eyebrows and pointed ears. She wears her hair long, but generally ties or braids it when on duty. She has a strong, sturdy frame, and her movements reflect the martial arts she has studied. Off duty, she wears simple, easy-to-move-in clothing--a jumpsuit under loose robes, that sort of thing. History: It's true that T'Pru's parents were killed for their participation in the dissident movement, but after that she was raised by the state. She has always had to fight hard to prove her loyalty and erase the shame her parent's actions brought her in Romulan society; that's why she's doing something so risky as infiltrating Starfleet intelligence.
Physical Data: Family: Personality: Strongly Christian. Thinks things out before acting, but then acts decisively. Enjoys a good fight once he's in it. likes a challenge. dislikes Io. likes to try new things. dislikes people telling him to "hurry up and wait". dislikes routine. feels strongly about some things and acts on his convictions. enjoys a good klingon workout or a good chess game. loyal in both duty and friendship. dislikes being injured or sick -- will often hide it from others. dislikes universal translators---would rather learn a language than have it translated. Description: Natural, undisguised appearance: slight Klingon ridges, slight pointed Vulcan ears, Vulcan eyebrows, otherwise looks like a dark complexioned Chinese person. Large, with barrel chest, ya' know, just BIG. Clothing:nothing special, nondescript, comfortable. Sometimes switches between the clothing of different races. Always keeps at least a knife if not a phaser in a boot, as well as a few other weapons when he can get away with it. As many weapons as he can get away with. History: Raised on Io in a Christian home. Io has people from places all over the Federation and beyond. Often went hungry as a child. Io has a high mortality rate -- he survived. Had to work rigorously from age 14. Learned several languages (speaks federation standard, federation Chinese, klingon, vulcan, and andorian fluently as well as enough high vulcan, romulan, betazoid, and ferangi to get by) when he was small. Sometimes got into fights but always for what he considered a good reason. Trained in the cultures of his parents (so can mind-meld, touch telepath, fight with b'atlh, etc.)and familiar with many others. In Starfleet was being groomed for command, but opted to volunteer for Shadow Ops.
Personality: Description: History: Davis quit school when he was 16 and left Earth to make his way in the galaxy. He spent time working for a Ferengi merchant, and eventually found himself cheif engineer on a pirate's ship, a decomissioned Romulan Warbird. When the Captian was captured and the ship destroyed he decided to move to SanFrancisco and apply to StarFleet academy. Davis found his niche with his fellow cadets and quickly showed himself to be a leader. He accelled in Computer Systems Engineering, and Security Systems analysis. To make better use of his underground hacking skills, Davis volunteered for a commission with Starfleet Intelligence, he was accepted but asked to join Shadow Operations right after graduation from the academy. Ensign MacMillan spent his three months training in Australia at the former SO Training camp. He graduated and joined Bravo Epsilon-7, but was denied promotion due to an overzealous attempt to beat the no win scenario in one of the training missions. Mac was eventually promoted to Lt. (jg) after a long and gruelling undercover mission. And now serves as one of Bravo Epsilon-7's Tactical Officers. On Stardate 9810.18 Mac married Giselle LeBeau, the sister of his late best friend and former shadow operative Louis, who was killed on a mission to Cutter's World. The couple now reside on Epsilon Seven. Giselle to date has no knowledge of Mac's life as a Shadow Operative. Only that he has to leave for extended periods of time for work.
Physical Data: Family: Personality: LeBeau is a happy-go lucky fellow, his demeanor is warm and friendly, rarely having a bad word to say about anything. His main love is racing & repairing small space & atmospheric craft. His other loves include cooking, eatting, and all thing french. He is known for being meticulous, conservative, and speaking with a thick accent. Description: LeBeau is 'vertically challenged', other than that, he's fairly non-descript. History: Growing up, LeBeau spent most of his time in his family's micro-shipyard, helping out on their many projects. Most of these projects were high speed racing teams wanting high-end custom performance atmosheric & space craft. In his teens, besides helping out in construction, LeBeau began racing atmospheric craft, quickly becoming an accomplished pilot. At age 19 he turned professional, rejecting acceptance to Starfleet basic training. Several years later, during the 'grand-pre' of races, the Rigel Cup, his craft collided with another and he was nearly killed. After weeks in intensive care, he decided to give up his racing career and enlist in Starfleet. Several years later he become bored with the life of a runabout/shuttle pilot, and decided to see what else Starfleet could offer. He is one the first NCOs to ever join Shadow Ops.
Physical Data: Family: Klomden Personality: Description: History: Like her Aunt Kiana, she didn't believe them and believed he was still alive and kept hostage some where. They were to be married 5 days after his return from his mission; all the preporations were in order except where to get married. Trying to block her emotions and everyone elses she focused on trying to find him, however she couldn't begin her own investigation while under her father's command. So she waited till she got out on her own. With wanting to open her own investigation, the emotional strain of her missing fiance, and the outside emotions she was picking up she took a year of medical leave. Not long after her return, Shadow Operations was in dire need of a new trainee. They approached her and not long after she responded she went directly to the Bravo Epsilon Seven based at Starbase Epsilon Seven in the Arcanus Sector where she still is to this day. This move has opened up opportunities to start her own investigation on the Dwight Owen case during her free time. Though it is classified information, she keeps at it in hopes to find a big break through some day.

Physical Data: Father: Captain Jason Durham, Captain of the U.S.S Dritorna Mother: Lieutenant commander Vera Durham, Medical officer off the U.S.S Dritorna Brothers: None Gregory was raised aboard the U.S.S Dritorna, a special science vessel where his father is captain. Also the rest of his family serves aboard that vessel except Greg, he didn't want to be favoured like his sisters and wanted to earn his position by skill, not by blood. By that decision he has moved himself into discredit with his father and his only contact to his family is his sister, Desiree. She knew what he was referring to and could understand his decision. He has decided 8 years ago to go to the Starfleet Acadamy to get off the Dritorna and try to serve aboard another ship. At first he had trouble adapting because he was from Beverly Hills and marked as the "Captain's rich boy". Greg always had to proof his skills twice as good as the rest before they accepted it. But with that additude, Greg had become one off the best pilots at the Academy and asked to join the elite corps. This one fact is what makes him most proud because he earned that all by himself. At the academy, greg studied general Physics, strategics, tactical combat, stellar cartography, advanced computer architecture, warp physics and communication technology. His major was Piloting/Navigation and was seen as one off the best. After his gradation he is approached by an officer from Shadow Ops to join them and Greg took that chance with two hands. Greg is 23 years old has a wide shoulder section, a firm waist and is about 1.80 metres tall. He is trained in several fighting skills but is an expert with all sort off cutting weapons. He always wears loose clothes, mostly black. He also is fond off strategic gaming. He can be found a lot in the holo sims, replaying space battles and is very skilled in that, especially with smaller fighter crafts. His favourite is the U.S.S Defiant and did a lot off sims with that vessel. He has grey/blue eyes, black hair and looks strong and massive. His appearance can be very dominant and arrogant but straight forward and hates people who slime and lie to get on good hand with anybody. Further, Greg is a modest man that doesn't like to get on the forground. He is a hard one to get friends with but once being a friend he will put his hand in the fire for you. He is also known to be very loyal.
Physical Data: Family: Personality: Has a very strong sense of right and wrong. She hates prejudice and is fascinated and respectful to the ways of other cultures. She is a deeply caring person, fiercely protective of people who earn her respect or her love. Description: Straight, simply styled hair that goes just past her shoulders. Slim but athletic frame, very toned and slightly muscular arms and legs. Often wears off duty clothes that show off her form, form fitting slacks or jeans, midriff baring tops, and other similar clothing. History: Ilia grew up on Bajor during the occupation. At the age of 12 her parents were murdered by cardassian soldiers when they attempted to resist the seizing of their farm land. Ilia escaped and soon after joined a resistance cell. She remained with the group for almost two years until she was injured and captured. She was sent to the Saratek detention camp, one of the worst facilities of the occupation. She struggled to stay alive for over a year, while people starved to death and were murdered around her. Then one day, the cardassian in charge of the camp, Gul Nekal, took an interest in Ilia. He took her in, fed her and clothed her, and gained her trust. It became apparent all too soon, however, what he really wanted from her. He made her his slave..sexually and mentally. She suffered terrible abuses at his hands and was forced to witness many atrocities as a result of his cruelty. A few months before her seventeenth birthday, she discovered she was pregnant. She tried to keep it a secret as long as she could, fearing what Nekal would do to her if he found out. But soon he did, and he was furious with her. He had her severely beaten, hoping that she would miscarry. She did not, however, and soon after managed to escape from Bajor. Ilia made her way to Earth. A couple months later she gave birth to a boy, Tajel. She struggled for awhile, working odd jobs to get by. At the age of 21 she was offered a chance to enter Starfleet Academy. She majored in security and graduated high in her class. Shortly after her graduation, she was offered a position with Shadow Ops. During a mission, she once again encountered Her son's father, Nekal, who once again captured her. She was rescued by her team, but not before he was once again able to assault and abuse her. She managed to kill him this time before her escape. This ended the years of fear she had felt, as she had known for some time he had been trying to reclaim herself and her son. Immediately following this mission, Ilia, along with her comrade and lover Sargeant Jahkar, a Federation marine, were transferred to Bravo Epsilon Seven. Less than a year later, the couple were engaged. Ilia also discovered that she was carrying Jahkar's child. They were married on stardate 9904.24. Ilia has served with Shadow Ops units USS Repulse, USS Avenger, and now on Bravo Epsilon Seven.
Physical Data: Family Personality: Shunned by both cultures he hails from, Jahkar is bitter toward most people, especially Romulans and Klingons. He is usually quiet, short tempered and has something of a mean-streak in him from time to time. Still, he respects authority and follows orders...whether he likes them or not. As for his rough childhood, Jahkar has often thought about seeking out his father and killing him for his treatment of his mother..whom he cherishes. Whether he will ever seek out Nelvak remains to be seen. Descripition: Big burly individual. Many Klingon characteristics with some Romulan. He has a slightly lighter skin tone than most Klingons. The ridges of his forehead are there, but they are less prominent than a full Klingon. His eyebrows are upturned like a Romulan and he has Romulan ears, usually concealed by his long hair. His teeth are also more Romulan than Klingon. When he's off duty, Jahkar wears dark clothing, usually something leather. He tends to stay away from traditional Klingon or Romulan clothing. History: His mother was taken prisoner three years before he was born when the Klingon Bird of Prey she served on was captured in battle against the Romulans. Convicted as a war criminal, his mother and the crew of the ship were sentenced to life in a Romulan prison facility on Melkeron IV. Within the first two years, most of the Klingons died after trying to escape or by taking their own lives. Jahkar's mother, K'nara, kept hope she'd one day escape, and eventually caught the eye of the prison warden, a tyranical Romulan named Nelvak. Nelvak found his advances toward K'nara spurned, so he began torturing other Klingon prisoners to break their spirits and make them serve as slaves to the Romulan Empire. He told K'nara if she would be his consort he would stop. So she complied. A year later Jahkar was born. After a few months K'nara learned Nelvak intended to kill Jahkar, so she and the surviving Klingons formed an escape plan and were successful in fleeing the prison. Eventually back in Klingon space, she found herself and her young son an outcast in Klingon society. She was considered a Romulan collaborator and her son an abomination -- the product of a union between a Romulan and Klingon. Dishonored and hated, K'nara tried to remain in the Empire, but by the time Jahkar was 10, they were finally driven out and went to live on the Federation colony of Toras III. There, Jahkar tried to grow up as normally as he could, but things weren't always much better than they'd been in the Empire. The human children also disliked him and this made his life as difficult as it had been among Klingons. At age 18, Jahkar went off and joined the Federation Marines. He completed Marine Recon Special Forces training. He first saw action during the Cardassian withdrawl from Bajor where his unit was assigned as peacekeepers at the end of the Occupation. Later, his unit saw heavy combat against the Klingons when they invaded the Arcanus sector and dissolved the Khitomer Accords. Jahkar became good in hand-to-hand combat and was an ace shot with a sniping rifle. He scored nearly 28 confirmed kills during his service in the war against the Klingons. After the conflict with the Klingons ended, Sergeant Jahkar was loaned to Starfleet's Shadow Operations where his skill as a commando and sniper would be employed.
Physical Data: Family: Yes Personality: Likeable person who at times seems to have a carefree attitude. It can turn very intimidating and dangerous when he is angered, but he has a long fuse as far as his temper. Very loyal to his friends and family, and will help them when he can. Deeply believes in the ideals of the Federation and Starfleet, and tries to live his life and treat others accordingly. But he tempers this with the realization that these are ideals to strive for and some times other methods are necessary to uphold them, but they must be strived for nonetheless. Sometimes he is shy in new social situations. Tries to let nothing really bother him in the long run, as he believes that you shouldn't overly worry about things out of your control, but you should prepare for most eventualities and keep your options open. Description: Big bear of a man with a big smile, but can put on as stoic serious face which intimidates meeker people. Likes to dress casually, off duty, but conforms to regulations when on duty. History: Normal child hood, loving home etc. Has taken a keen interest in Science. Went through the academy, and managed to get a PhD in Chemistry. Physical Data: Family: The Great Link Personality: Being created from the Link, Ayer shares many characteristics of other changelings. Some including an inborn urge to control his environment, either through physical or scientific means, and having a sense of secrecy and privacy when around "solids." These characteristics have slowly changed over the years as a result of not linking back with the Founders. Though these traits have become instincts, his personality can conform to any shape that he assumes. Description: Opting to remain in human shape whenever he is in the company of the Federation, Ayer dons a Starfleet uniform when he is on and off duty. His composure tell others that he is very sure of himself and in control. When Ayer is off duty, he usually spends time gathering information from whatever sources his contacts sent him. When he's not doing that, he would hone in on his morphing ability. History: Most of Ayer's history is either unknown or classified. However, his service record with Shadow Operations could be recalled. After graduating from the Training Facilities, Ayer and the rest of his graduates were posted on the USS Stealth, Shadow Ops' first mobile headquarters. It was after the second mission that he was demoted for insubordination and reassigned to serve onboard the USS Renegade. Onboard the Renegade, things got off to a rocky start. Ayer and the first officer, William McCullouch, disagreed with many things, mainly the way the changeling collects his information, which McCullough believes, was a security risk to the crew of the ship. However, after several missions of working together and saving each other's life, their relations improved. Unfortunately though, the Renegade was destroyed when a traitor leaked out their command codes to the enemy. After doing what he could to track down the mole, Ayer was reassigned to Starfleet Intelligence to analyze Dominion strategy and to be an advisor on Changelings. On stardate 9812.08, Ayer was recalled back to Shadow Ops with a reinstated rank of lieutenant commander, and assigned onboard his third Shadow Ops ship, the Avenger. He served there briefly as first officer before Admiral Sorvek decided his skills and experience made him a viable candidate to join the elite Bravo Squad force. He was transferred on Stardate 9905.05.
Birthplace: Dorvan V Personality: Kin is fun loving and vibrant. She's a giggler and can often be found laughing or smiling at something/someone. Kin enjoys working with a team but will take the lead when needed. Her inquisitive nature about life and the sciences fuels her drive in the laboratory. Description: When not in uniform, Kin normally wears comfy one piece jumpers in shades of blue or red along with a shell necklace passed down from her grandmother. Her hair is worn in a fishtailed braid while on duty; when off duty she wears it fastened in a clip. She has few defining Native American features; she closely resembles her mother. History: Her Terran mother met her Native American father while she was serving on a medical supply ship. They were married shortly after and Elena decided to stay on Dorvan V. After their second child was born, Elena and Natane returned to Earth. Kindred lived on Earth for most of her life and only visited the site of her birth two times. She had already adopted the ways of the Federation when Natane tried to submerge her in the ideals of his people. In her younger years, Kin rejected her father's ways. The only things of the culture she held dear was the necklace her grandmother gave her shortly before her death. At the age of sixteen, Kindred lost her mother in a shuttle accident. Natane could not bear living on Earth without her and decided to return to Dorvan V. Natane was determined to bring back both Kindred and Cody to his home world. Learning this, Kin decided to stay and take the position at Starfleet Academy that she had won. Furious, Natane left with Cody, and Kindred began her studies. While at the Academy, she earned degrees in biology and chemistry, developed a passion for computers, and learned how to pilot a shuttlecraft. Shortly after graduation, Kindred learned that her brother had join the Maquis. On leave before her first assignment, she received information that Cody had been captured by the Cardassians. She and a group of her friends went into action to retrieve him. After spending nine months in the camp on Quintak as prisoners, they were finally successful in the rescue and brought him home. Kin's Starfleet superiors had heard of the rescue operation and she was drafted into Shadow Operations after her Academy refresher courses. After training, Kin was promoted to the
rank of Lieutenant Junior Grade and assigned to the USS Ticonderoga as the Chief Science
Officer and head of the ships Biological Warfare R&D. She developed numerous viruses
including Anti-white I and the faster acting Anti-White II. These bugs are injected into
the blood stream of a Jem'Hadar. Within seconds he is incapacitated. The virus acts on the
White cells eating them and breaking them down. After a few hours, the foot soldier will
awaken with nasty flu-like side effects. Her first mission involved saving the planet Endarakus from a terrible fate. They were infected by the Cardassians and Dominion to test a new metagenic weapon. Though they didn't reach Endarakus in time to save everyone, the antidote saved many lives. Torpedo fragments lead them to the main base of metagenic operations, Pentarthus. On Pentarthus, the team found an elaborate Dominion/Cardassian science base. Underneath the facility, a system of tunnels and caves held experimental mutant cast-offs. These transformed animals and humanoids attacked two of the operatives infecting them with a virus. The virus was a more virulent strain than the initial Endarakus virus. Once the mission was complete, Kin, along with the help of the EMH Mark I, discovered a cure to the mutated strain. She was awarded a special Science Commendation for her work on Endarakus. A visit from the dashing doctor Julian Bashir ended the short shore leave. The next mission was on Navek IV dealing with a Ferengi merchant named Touss. Kin proposed that the team pose as members of the Jack McCammon gang of ex-Starfleet renegades. She posed as McCammon's consort, Kiki an Orion Slave woman. Touss had been selling off Borg technology from an inactive cube to the highest bidders. Once captured, Touss told them where the cube was hidden. Arriving there, the team stole aboard the cube planting explosive devises. It was successfully destroyed. The team received a full vacation on Risa following this mission. The third mission was a cooperative effort between the Shadow Ops team and the 82nd Marine Detachment assigned to the USS Lionheart. Each member had to jump from the Ticonderoga to land on Firedrake (The volcanic planet had once been a Federation communications base but was now held by the Dominion.). Kin nearly failed her crash course in sub-orbital insertion. Extra training allowed her to pass the final test with the lowest Starfleet test score allowable. Reator, a gas Kin manipulated, incapacitated all but a few Jem'Hadar soldiers during the infiltration. It was deployed in modified v-probes that employed hunter probe technologies. While on the base, the she helped hack into Dominion and Cardassian files finding a list of Federation POWs on various controlled worlds including Betazed and Kin's home planet, Dorvan V. Kin saw various Cardassian transmissions during the 8 hours. A few caught her eye, especially those from one man. He reminded her of someone, but she couldn't place the face with a name. She blocked it out of her mind only to remember after she returned from the mission who he was. The Cardassian gul was one of her tormentors during her incarceration on Quintak, one of the mining planets used to house Maquis and Federation prisoners. This memory combined with the effects of the war caused Kindred to have severe nightmares. Instead of seeking help from a counselor, Kin decided to take out her aggressions and sorrows in a holodeck program. Most nights one can find her running through the New Mexico deserts. Kin is romantically involved with Lt. Commander Jeff O'Neill onboard the USS Ticonderoga. He is the Chief engineer and an Shadow Ops member. They have been dating since SO training. In recent months, their relationship has become more serious.
Physical Data: Family: Personality: Taryn is strong-willed, intelligent, aggressive and courageous. She has a rather sarcastic sense of humor and is quite cynical at times. She is often very sad about the past, and covers by making jokes. Description: Taryn Kane looks more like a supermodel than a Starfleet Intelligence agent. She has waist-length black hair, a lightly-tanned complexion and stays in great shape by working out. Taryn usually wears skintight clothing, preferably one-piece jumpsuits (off-duty) which show off her well sculpted body. History: Taryn Kane was born on Earth in 2263. Her parents were both archaeologists who spent a great deal of time in the field. Taryn joined Starfleet at 19 years old and was commissioned four years later. She first served aboard the U.S.S. Excelsior under Captain Sulu as a security officer. Taryn was transfered to the U.S.S. Bozeman when she was 24 and six weeks later, while on a mission to explore a region of space called the Typhon Expanse, the ship -- commanded by a Captain Morgan Bateson -- was caught in a temperol loop and found itself catapulted 80 years into the future. The ship narrowly avoid collision with the U.S.S. Enterprise-D and was told the bad news by Captain Jean-Luc Picard. The crew was, for the most part, devestated by the news they were lost in the future. Bateson took the Bozeman and followed the Enterprise to the nearest Starbase. There, each crew member was interviewed by Starfleet and then they were transported back to Earth. Taryn soon learned that her parents were both dead and that her brother, now 108, was living in a retirement colony on New Provos. The Bozeman became a museum ship and the crew was treated like relics, for the most part -- with Captain Bateson himself teaching 23rd century history at the Academy. Still young and not ready to spend her life talking to 24th century historians about life 80 years ago, Taryn returned to Starfleet Academy for two years of refresher courses and returned to duty with Starfleet in 2369. She gradually was able to grasp life in the 24th century, serving aboard the U.S.S. Farragut until she was accepted into Starfleet Intelligence in 2372. Taryn ended up in Shadow Ops, recruited by Admiral Sorvek. She served on the USS Repulse under Captain Keio Sakata. She was originally the ship's commmunications specialist, but eventually was promoted to Security Chief. During her time aboard the Repulse she became involved with Commander Jack Dark, the ship's first officer. She served on Repulse until 2376, shortly after the Breen entered the Dominion War, when she accepted a transfer to Bravo Squad.
Physical Data: Height: 6' 1" Weight: 190 lbs. Sex: Male Family: Personality: Although quite bright and articulate, William McCulloch has, from time to time, displayed a deep passion for brawls. He is quick tempered, curses often, enjoys most ales and brews, will devour any red meat and will drop any activity for a round of golf. He has a great sense of humor and was known for his practical jokes while at Starfleet Academy. He hatred of those who prey on the weak and innocent is only surpassed by his hatred of cowards. He has a deep respect for the Klingons and is convinced that the Klingons are somehow the distant cousins of the Scots. Description: William McCulloch is approximately six-foot-one in height and well built with broad shoulders. He has blue eyes, brown hair and speaks with a Scottish accent. A feint scar from a childhood injury is noticeable on his left cheek. When off duty, William reverts back to his native clothing, which consists of a Highland bonnet, a sash with his clan colors (green, blue, red and yellow), civilian style shirts and jackets and his clan kilt. History: William entered Starfleet Academy at age 18. While enrolled, his performance was poor and disorganized. Although he excelled in courses related to hand to hand combat, tactics and weaponry, he consistently scored in the bottom percentile of science, math and physics. He nearly failed his senior thesis by calling for the reintroduction of 19th century Earth military tactics. Following graduation, he was assigned to Security aboard the USS Concord. Although his conduct and performance was significantly better than his academy years, William had only achieved a rank of 2nd Lieutenant by the age of 30. Faced with a dead-end career, William was given a choice by his superiors: resign his commission or enlist in the Shadow Ops. He chose the latter. Following his training in Australia with Shadow Ops, McCulloch was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Commander and assigned to the USS Renegade as its Tactical Officer. He served in three missions and led away teams in two of them. He also participated in two major battles within Klingon territory. His courage and valor during the First Battle of Klingon Imperial Battle Station 21 earned him various medals of commendation from the Klingon Empire and the Federation. Following the destruction of the USS Renegade by the Consortium, William assumed command of the surviving crew until it reached Deep Space Nine. Shortly thereafter, William and Ensign Victoria Smith were abducted by alien beings from the Epsilon Quadrant and hurled back to 1776 Earth as part of a bizarre experiment. After spending a month in 18th Century New York, William, without his love interest Victoria, was able to return to the present. After his return, he was reassigned to the USS Repulse. It was there he lapsed, for the second time in his career, into an alcoholic binge. While intoxicated, McCulloch participated in a massive bar room brawl, sending multiple patrons to the hospital and himself to the brig. While under arrest, he first encountered Lt. Commander Jack Dark, sent from the Repulse to retrieve McCulloch. The encounter was openly combative and for short time, the two expressed hostility towards each other. However, after serving together on three missions, the anger towards each other has long ceased. William is currently the second officer and tactical officer on board the USS Repulse. On a mission to Karthos Beta, McCulloch was drugged and kidnapped by a cloned Klingon Demon. During the encounter, he deserted his team, executed several Klingons, attempted to hijack a Klingon Bird of Prey and displayed acts of cowardice. He would have been killed by Klingon Security Personnel had Lt. Commander Taryn Kane intervened and saved his life; an act which has created unquestionable loyalty to that officer. William McCulloch NEVER discusses the incident on Karthos Beta and considers it a tragic part of his career. On Stardate 9910.15, William McCulloch and other operatives traveled back to 1776 Earth and rescued Ensign Victoria Smith. After their return to the present, he proposed to her. They are scheduled to be married next year. On Stardate 0003.19, He served in the Second Battle of Klingon Imperial Battlestation 21 against the Breen and Dominion. McCulloch suggested an open attack on the Dominion left flank, but on was rejected as being too risky and costly. Instead, the Repulse activated its phase cloak and began dropping torpedoes and hunter probes into vital areas of each Breen ship. William, during this crucial stage, turned over his entire tactical department to Lt. Commander James Doblin, the mastermind of the phased cloak strike. To the Scot's relief, Mr. Doblin's tactic turned the tide of battle and avoided a bloodbath on the Repulse. He is a skilled assassin and an experienced marksman. William McCulloch is a master in the use of hidden weapons. With a twitch of the wrist or the peeling back of synthetic skin, a seemingly unarmed man would suddenly be eliminating his enemies with Type I phasers. His use of Hunter Probes, Nano Probes and other explosive devices on missions is common. It is also common that he is the team member to be in the thick of the fray and thus, the member who is injured the most. In fact, Williams injury rate exceeded all team members of the USS Renegade and USS Repulse combined.
Height: 6'1" Family Personality: Sontag tries very hard to maintain his non-emotional Vulcan demeanor at all times, but it is a hard struggle for him. Often in stressful situations he will lose his emotional control and it will manifest through rage, laugher, crying and sometimes even petty emotions like jealousy. He is usually very quiet, though he is always eager to inject Vulcan logic or an anecdote from the teachings of Surak. Appearance: Sontag wears loose fitting trousers, tunics and Vulcan robes off duty, indicative of the Vulcan monestary he was once part of. He also maintains the haircut of a Vulcan monk -- head shaved bald with a single braid of black hair hanging from the back of his head down to his upper back. Despite the fact he was banished from the Followers of Gol, Sontag still wears the garments of a Gol monk (off duty) and wears his hair shaved bald with a traditional braided ponytail in the back. History: Sontag was born in 2282 on Vulcan. His father was a diplomat and part of Ambassador Sarek's diplomatic team. His mother was a Priestess of Gol who operated a healing temple on Vulcan's southern hemisphere. Sontag emersed himself in his mother's world at a young age. By the time he finished general studies at the age of 18, he was already a junior adept Vulcan healer. He spent the next ten years at a monestary on the western side of Mt. Seleya. There Sontag trained as a Vulcan priest of Gol... skilled as a martial artist (Vulcan fighting form called Ke-tarya...he is considered very deadly with his hands) and as a healer. At 28 Sontag travelled aboard to Vulcan colonies and outposts where he worked with other Vulcans who were suffering from mental trauma and telepathic disorders. He spent 15 years travelling around the Alpha Quadrant until he was summoned back to Vulcan to take the Kohlinar -- the final purge of any emotions. Upon his arrival, he learned that the Kohlinar had been postponed due to the death of his twin brother, Sharvek. His brother was a high priest among the Followers of Gol and had been killed during an attempt to climb Mt. Kul'tamak, a sacred site on Vulcan where Surak once climbed to the summit and meditated there for nearly a week. Sharvek was attempting to duplicate this pilgrimage and fell to his death. About a week after his brother's death, Sontag -- now a master martial artist and healer -- began his journey into the Kohlinar ritual on Vulcan when he suddenly and mysteriously suffered a serious mental trauma which left him comatose for six weeks. When he recovered, a team of healers headed by his mother learned that Sontag had lost virtually all emotional control he'd built up over the years. Unable to heal him, his mother sent him off to a Vulcan monestary deep in the deserts where he spent years working to recover his emotional control. Over time Vulcan procedures were able to help him rebuild a majority of his emotional control, but not completely. Somehow his ability to contain his emotions had been broken down and could not be completely rebuilt. Healers suspected some sort of block in his katra preventing him from regaining control. After failing the Kohlinar twice, a dangerous procedure to purge this block was proposed by his mother and the adepts of the monestary were prepared to conduct the ancient ritual, when Sontag suddenly objected. Although he disliked the emotions within him, he decided they were nonetheless a part of him now after he'd been dealing with them for so long. The ritual would not only rob him of that aspect of his being...but it would also wipe his mind clean of his life experiences and the very essence of his being. Unsatisfied with his stance, his mother used her influence to force a decision on Sontag -- accept the ancient Senaliu Ritual or be banished from the priesthood. Sontag, then 56 years old, refused to allow the ritual and was promptly banished from the sect. His mother turned her back on him and his father, now in the final stages of Bendii's Disease, was unable to recognize his son or carry on a conversation with him. Sontag, an outcast on Vulcan who couldn't even practice healing on his own, decided to see what opportunities were beyond Vulcan. He left and travelled for several years, then ended up at Harvard Medical School on Earth where he double-majored in medicine and psychology. At 70 he graduated and spent the next 10 years practicing medicine on the frontier colony Rodarus V. He became well known and respected for his insights into mental trauma and degenerative brain disorders. In 2362 Sontag accepted a medical position at a hospital station in the Volon Colonies near Cardassian space. Sontag dealt with many combat casualities as the war with the Cardassians neared its end. In 2365, with the war over, Sontag treated colonists from throughout the colonies and as things in the Volon Colonies began to look up, word came that the Federation was giving control of the disputed colonies in the newly established Demilitarized Zone to the Cardassians. From 2366-2370 Sontag dealt with fighting between the colonists and the Cardassians. He also saw the emergence of the Maquis. Many station personnel sided with the Maquis and there were rumors hospital station personnel were aiding the freedom fighters. In 2370 the hospital station was turned over to the Cardassians as part of the agreement and Sontag left to return to the Federation. He decided to join Starfleet after experiencing a vision that the Federation would soon be involved in a great war. He completed Starfleet training and with his medical training he graduated a year early and was commissioned in 2373. Sontag served in various posts on several starships during the brief Klingon/Federation conflict and the Dominion War. When the Dominion War ended Sontag had just completed special forces training and was promoted to lieutenant. He received a posting to Shadow Operation's Bravo Squad elite force as the team's chief medical officer and counselor.
FAMILY PERSONALITY: Elocin is often flamboyant, but only as a cover for his deeper feelings. During his tenure at Starfleet Academy, Elocin met, fell in love with, and married a human woman who was training at Starfleet Academy with him. While on a training exercise, she was killed when her tactical fighter crashed into a mountain side. Her death was ruled suicide, but Elocin believes otherwise. Due to the fact that every person he ever loved is dead, he is reluctant to pursue relationships. This is also a reason he decided to volunteer for the Shadow Ops program. He enjoys solitude. His likes include music, particularly Terran classical and Cardassian opera. He also enjoys chess, and often plays it with fellow crew members. He also has a passion for medieval arts, including swordplay and archery. He dislikes formal gatherings, proud people, and power happy seniors. DESCRIPTION: Elocin is rather tall, dark black hair, and two different colored eyes. On the inside of his left forearm, he has a tatoo. It is three congruent right angled triangles that join together at the point that has the second largest angle. They make a design that looks like a throwing star. It represents his rank in the secret Trill organization know as the Council of Three. During his off hours, he usually wears brightly colored robes. He rarely wears jewelry. HISTORY: Elocin grew up in a Starfleet environment. After his birth and death of his mother, Elocin's father arranged it for him to live with his grandfather. Elocin lived with him for nearly a decade, before he died. At age eleven, Elocin's father returned and took him from Trill to live with him on the Rutherford, the ship to which his father was posted. For nearly five years, he lived there, but then his father was transfered to the Odyessy, and Elocin went with him. Several years later, Elocin was joined with Shea. After that, he joined Starfleet and went to the Academy. During his tenure there, his father was killed when the Dominion destroyed the Odyessy. When he emerged from Starfleet Academy, Elocin chose to join Shadow Ops, because there, he could help ensure the safety of the Federation without building ties that bind. He collects weapons, and his room on the Renegade had reflected that. It had contained many bladed and projectile weapons from several different cultures, including Vulcan, Trill, Terran, and Klingon. However, when the Renegade was destroyed, the majority of his collection was lost. He only collects 'real' items, and didn't replicate a new set. His present collection contains only a few peices, including a Trill spear that he picked up on his last vacation there. During his debut mission with Shadow Operations, he was caught in a battle where a stone column broke and severed his right arm just short of the elbow. Being unable to retrived the missing limb, he opted to have a biomechanical replacement instead. His hand is now a dull silver color. It has also had several 'unofficial' additions. Each finger has a fingernail that can be extened and retracted at will. The claws can pop out and make an excellent weapon. The index finger tip contains a weak phaser emiter, the middle fingertip, a plasma torch, the ring finger, a tazer, and the pinkie finger tip a hypospray. The thumb has no special abilities. In the center of the palm there is a circular opening that can launch a small grapple up to 25 meters. The servo inside is strong enough to lift not only Elocin's weight, but up to 200 kilograms. The entire thing is powered by a dual cell in the arm and is connected to his internal nervous system. After several months of service aboard the Renegade, Shea began designing and building a large hand-held weapon he named the PRG. It was basically a tri barrelled cannon that fired phaser beams, rockets, and grenades. It looked like a large triagle with a joystick for a handle near the rear. Unfortunately, the prototype was destroyed with the Renegade and he hasn't tried building a new one yet. The Shea symbiant has had four previous hosts, all female. With Elocin being it's first male host, both are experiencing the new relationship that they will have. The first host was named Kila, a dancer by profession and an artist by passion. She was born in 2210 and created several works of art that, while not being famous, did create several followers of her career. In 2245, she stopped her ballet to donate all of her time to scultping. She got married, had several children, and died when she was 82. The next host was a militia officer named Jory. She was born in 2279 and was 23 when she recieved the symbiant. For 40 years she served in Trill's militia force until Trill joined the Federation and the force was converted to join Starfleet. At this time, Jory was 63 and was to set in her ways to be able to fully integrate into Starfleet's protocols. So she took an early retirement and tried her hand at cultivating plants in her yard. She never married. At the death of Jory, in 2322, the symbiant was passed on to a 26 year old scientist named Tuli. Tuli served as a member of the Trill Board of Science for nearly fifteen years. She was then moved to a Starfleet facility where she was killed in an accident. She had a husband, but didn't have much time to devote to the marriage. 2340 found Shea in the hands of Lylia, a woman who was of disreputable stature. When she applied for joining, she was a good natured and inteligent young woman, but after the joining, she became increasingly erratic. She never had a steady occupation or home, and she made her living through trickery and such. She was captured in 2359 and placed in a medical facilty to treat her insanity. For eight years she was treated, but the staff was never able to cure her problem and she ended up commiting suicide in the facilty in 2367. That year, Elocin completed his training and was accepted as a worthy host by the Symbiosis Commission. He was given Shea and then he joined Starfleet.
Physical Data: Family: Personality: Toni Reece is an affable, although somewhat spikey person to be around. She's chatty, friendly and utterly, one hundred percent confident in her abilities. This sometimes causes problems when she's wrong but she remains a reliable, highly competent officer. Description: Toni Reece is 6'3" with shoulder length, bobbed black hair. She's very pale and has a slight, almost brittle looking frame. History: Antonia Reece has been in space all her life, literally. Born to Maria and William Reece aboard the USS VESALIUS, she spent her first five years as part of the vessel's crew, whilst the VESALIUS continued it's deep space research. However, her childhood was far from uneventful. In their second year out, the VESALIUS was hit by a meteorite strike that severely damaged the life support and artificial gravity systems. With help a good month away, the VESALIUS crew were forced to make what repairs they could and continually juggle full life support and gravity systems across the ship. As a result of this, much of the ship was in microgravity for six weeks, whilst the problem was worked on and eventually fixed. Once the situation was rectified however, the true extent of the damage it had caused was discovered. Whilst the adult crewmembers had suffered nothing more severe than some calcium depletion and slight brittleness of bone, Antonia, the only child aboard had suffered far more. The bone growth that had taken place across those six weeks was unusually sized, and unusually brittle. At three, Antonia was pushing three and a half feet. The ship's doctor did what she could for Antonia, prescribing her a rigorous exercise regime and ensuring that she stayed under gravity at all times. However, whilst she recovered a good deal of the bone strength she'd lost, she remained unusually tall and continued to grow. On the VESALIUS' return, Antonia was given a full examination at Starfleet Medical where it was concluded that the microgravity had triggered a form of acromegaly that had caused the growth spurt. As the condition became life threatening, she was treated with an experimental genetic process that halted and stabilised the growth of her bones and organs. The cartilage in her joints and nose was expanded to avoid arthritis and her spinal column was strengthened to ensure that no nrve damage would ensue. She spent her 6th, 7th and 8th birthdays in hospital, but the growth was stopped. Despite this, Antonia had a bright, happy childhood and was soon deadset on following in her parent's footsteps. She'd not set on a planet until she was ten and somehow space seemed more like home than anywhere else. At 18, she applied for an Academy place and got one. However, instead of going down the scientific path favoured by her parents, Antonia found she excelled at flight control and spatial physics. She picked up the highest Shuttle aptitude scores of any cadet in twenty years, and participated as an Undergraduate in the Helm Refit Program at Utopia Planitia that led to the modifications made to the Enterprise-E and other major line vessels in the central stage of the Dominion war. She was getting straight As across the board and looked set to be top of her graduating class. Except for one small thing. At 6'3, willow thin and pale, Antonia stood out from a crowd, even one as diverse as Starfleet Academy. Rumours began to circulate about her past, and the surgery that had saved her life became a eugenics program, and Antonia it's one living subject. It didn't matter that the full details of her case were on record or that she was more than happy to tell people what had happened. She was the "class freak" to certain elements of the student body, and almost immediately her grades began to suffer. She was still scoring As, but disciplinary problems were coming with them. And the makings of an attitude problem. She graduated third, despite all this and had her pick of assignments. She chose the proving grounds at Jupiter Station, where she spent the first two years of her active service perfecting the new helm controls, as well as new systems for ship classes as diverse as the DEFIANT, the STEAMRUNNER and the INTREPID. Her work was highly praised, and several of the maneuvers she developed there are on the verge of being made part of the Academy curriculum. Despite this, however, Antonia still wasn't happy. She wanted space beneath her feet, the freedom of being able to go any direction at once. She needed active service, and Shadow Ops looked like the perfect place for it.
Physical Data: Family: Personality: (how the character acts, feels, likes, dislikes, etc.) Unlike many vulcans, Suvok posseses a sense of humor. His vulcan half means that he can think logically when the situation demands, He is able to think clearly in critical situations. However, he can abandon logic when he needs to. This is a great asset in intelligance work, where he can put himself into the position of some very illogical opponents. his impartiality enables him to work with most species & he is able to cultivate unlikely alliances. Description: History: He joined shadow ops towards the end of the dominion war. After completing the training on earth, he served postings on several ships until the war ended. Since then, he has been involved in intelligence work for starfleet. He has just been invited to return to Shadowops & serve on on Bravo squad. this he has now accepted. He is skilled in hand to hand combat, but preferrs klingon weapons when he has the choice. This is as a result of a time that he spent on attachment to a bird of prey during the dominion war. Name: Lt. Commander James Doblin
Physical Data: Family: Personality: Though he doesn't mind company, he keeps most of his opinions to himself. He has a tendency of being over alert and constantly aware of his surroundings. He does develop a loyalty to his friends. Description: Strong, muscular built. Enjoys various outdoor activities ranging from white water rafting to camping. He runs various training exercise programs on the holodeck ranging from hand to hand, blade and weapon combat. He owns a small collection of various weapons, including a chakram from India. He has created two of his own weapons - an EMP (Electro-Magnetic Pulse) weapon that is the ground force equivalent of the Breen's ship weapon system. The second is a combination of the grenade launching system from a Marine M-75 phasor rifle with an optional micro-transporter for the grenade rounds attached to a type V phasor rifle with his own sighting system. The power cells have also been extended to give a longer charge. He has made numerous changes to the Repulse, including a modification called the Illusionist (in separate document). Besides his tactics and enhancements, He is also a Grand Master in the martial arts style of Dragon Palm - a style that utilizes bits and pieces of many other styles - as well as over 40 different weapons (bladed, energy, blunt, and projectile), gymnastics, explosives, disguise and concealment, survival botany and geology, accupressure, and a bit of an armorer - making it probably the most lethal, complex, (and probably the hardest) to learn. It also includes the use of herbs, plants, and other natural materials for healing and making of poisons, minor explosives, and other useful things as well. He has currently finished training his last student (who was being trained for over 7 years before reaching this level), and is looking for his next student. James has a two tendencies, which sometimes gets him into trouble. The first is that he thinks more like a Maquis engineer than a Starfleet engineer. This falls along with his tactical planning as part of his enhancements, a concept that eludes many engineers and designers because they have a tendency of sticking more to tried and proven concepts, where James will also utilize anything else that he can as well. The other is that he is really bad about documenting things in an official Starfleet report - especially improvements and modifications, which he is always making. He does keep actual over detailed blueprints, schematics and records for himself and his fellow crew members do likewise if they wish as well. However, due to training that he received for the Tarsian wars, he doesn't like to let this info out, due to the possibility of it falling into the wrong hands. This tendency, and the constant changing of command codes without notifying Starfleet of the new codes until after they had been changed, has proven to have been beneficial in at least two circumstances already. Skills received from Starfleet training: - Academy: Engineering, Shadow Ops primary: Hacking;Secondary: Electronic Warfare (other various skills evident-though no record of his being taught these skills) History: Served in the Tarsian Wars as a medic under Roga Danar. Like the rest of the military, he was also biochemically and psychologically altered (See The Hunted - STNGS). He then was settled on Lunar 5 like the rest of the military after the wars. After being released from Lunar 5, he goes to Earth to join Starfleet. He goes through the academy, studying engineering. He has chosen to have some of the mental argumentations undone as well as receiving some counseling, but has decided to keep most of the changes done by his government - though he resents what they did to him. Since his assignment with the Renegade, James has utilized and implemented very non-conventional tactics and strategies in order to accomplish objectives. This was part of his training on Angoasia III as well - utilizing the totally unexpected on the enemy in order to cause devastating damage and chaos on them. Stardate 9711.11: When the Klingon station, KB21 was shut down by the use of bio-chemical warfare from the Dominion, the Renegade team was to repel a Dominion/Cardassian invasion force. James put some shuttles on remote control. Then, when the force had entered the system, James had the shuttles do a warp speed collision with the lead ships - taking them out of action. During this battle, he also repelled an invading Jem'Haddar force from engineering by use of a false warp core breach warning - causing the Jem'Hadar to immediately flee the area. This allowed the engineering dept. personnel to secure themselves in engineering and flood the surrounding areas with anesticine gas, preventing them from gaining control of the ship. Afterwards, he then went on a hunting spree throughout the ship - out thinking their moves and killing over 70 with 41 kills confirmed. Received the Klingon Medal of Valor, Starfleet Medal of Meritorious Service as well as the Silver Star medal -- for his efforts to repel the Jem'Hadar boarding parties and strategies used in the defense of KIB 21 and the Renegade. In other missions, He has dropped mines out the back of a ship - putting them suddenly in direct path of perusing ships; giving the appearance of going head to head with two dominion ships a in a shuttlecraft, then, using two photon torpedoes to confuse the enemy's sensor array long enough to temporarily block out their sensors, and then using a warp speed jump to a planet's south pole where he hid the shuttle until the other ship left; going on a killing spree inside a Dominion supply center as a decoy for the rest of the group to successfully rescue General Kegara - and wind up not only turning the supply center into one huge crater, but also capturing and bringing home a Cardassian Keldon class warship in the process. After the destruction of the Renegade, James assisted Lt. Commander Elisabeth Wilson in tracking down and captured Rolf Thurmond - the source of the information that enabled the destruction of the Renegade by a group from the Consortium, and personally turned him over to Chancellor Gawron. During this process, they turned up the first leads of the spy that had infiltrated Shadow Ops. James was then reassigned to the Repulse, which is now normally stationed at Klingon Battlestation KB21. On the first mission on the Repulse, he used a herd of "pre-historic" looking animals chased through the enemy's camp in order to gain the advantage. While securing a hanger facility on the next mission, he tricked a group of Breen to blow up some chemicals that, when heated, produce a smoke screen. Then, he tricked the Breen into attacking a group of Jem'hadar who were sent into the hanger to back up the Breen as well as making the Jem'hadar think that the Breen were the enemy as well. Then James was able to pick off the survivors after both sides killed each other off. On their return, James utilized the plan that Beth had done to the Dominion battlecruisers to engage the Breen ships that were with a Dominion attack force attempting to take the station for a second time. The plan was dropping out torpedoes, hunter probes, and explosive charges into key areas of the Breen ships, causing terror and tearing the ships apart from the inside outward. This, along with the Klingons shifting their fire concentration to the Breen ships destroyed their vessles, allowed for the Federation ships to engage the Dominion vessles after the surviving breen turned an ran off in defeat. This tactic ended up saving the station and and win the battle. During this battle, James also had the ship's sensors working on picking up readings from the torpedoes, probes and explosive charges passing through the phased cloak. This, as well as a large amount of data collected from other times where the regular cloak was penetrated by an object passing through (shuttle transports and other) allowed for James to discover a method for firing torpedoes from the ship while cloaked. This method has been tested, but hasn't as of yet been used in battle. Name: Dr. Elizabeth Wilson
(Beth) Physical Data: Family: Personality: Beth is a charming and outgoing individual. She is a woman of many talents and interests including: horse back riding, camping, rafting, Scuba Diving, Martial Arts (Several forms, her latest, and the hardest she has learned, is Dragon Palm- a style that utilizes bits and pieces of many other styles, as well as over 40 different weapons, and accu-pressure, making it probably the most lethal, complex, (and probably the hardest) to learn. It also includes the use of herbs, plants, and other natural materials for healing and making of poisons, minor explosives, and other useful things as well.), Interior decorating, and Fashion. She has made her own clothing, including her high school prom dress. She has a high level of knowledge in botany, her favorite of the sciences, specializing in the plants used for medicine and food. She has little tolerance for men that give the attitude of inferiority or chauvinism towards women, as one of her crew members found out the hard way for telling a dirty joke in hearing range of her. (he got an "attitude adjustment" and she got 2 weeks in the brig as well as a reprimand - she got the lighter end of the deal). She has a caring personality and has a tenancy to go out of her way for someone in need. She loves to receive roses for special occasions, and follows her Christian beliefs. Description: Beth's appearance is somewhat a cross between the body of Lucy Lawless and the face of Nicole Kidman. Her long hair is usually tied in back for more rugged activities, and styles it in various fashions for other activities. Beth usually dresses for the environment - very formal for formal occasions, casual for casual, etc. Beth likes to relax in a holodeck program she calls "Tranquility" (a program with a hot water spring coming out of a hillside appearing like a waterfall. At the base is a small pool that acts like a Jacuzzi. The area is surrounding is the appearance of a jungle with a large amount of flowers, the smell of which is in the air. There are birds that sing and some that are programmed to even land close by and allow to be petted. This is a copy of a place she found on Risa - though it has a few minor "improvements" to it (this program she shares with only a few close friends - as it is very personal to her). Beth is also one of the very few doctors in Starfleet that has working knowledge of changeling anatomy. She gained this from two Vorta who taught her while tending to a fellow changeling crewmember (Lt. Ayer) as well as some small bits from Lt. Ayer. Academy training - medical. History: Served on board the USS Hathaway as a medical officer for 2 years. During that time, she has distinguished herself several times as a medical officer. She has proven herself in combat during a Klingon invasion of the Hathaway, where she killed 4 Klingons with her martial arts training, then seized a phaser and kept the infirmary secured during the entire invasion. For this, her captain has put her up for Shadow OPS. Stardate 9711.11: During her first assignment, on board the Renegade, she received Klingon Medal of Valor, Starfleet Medal of Meritorious Service, and the Starfleet Medical Special Recognition -- for her work of research and curing victims of a Dominion virus known as "Devil's Blood", and for handling the large number of casualties that occurred from the following invasion attempt from the Dominion/Cardassians. On Stardate 9803.28, Beth received a commendation for thwarting an assassin's attempt to kill Captain Briggs and saved Commander Valkris from a bomb. This happened due to the development of a "sixth sense of danger" during her final parts of her Dragon Palm training. After the destruction of the Renegade, Beth, assisted by then Lt. James Doblin, tracked down and captured Rolf Thurmond, and personally turned him over to Chancellor Gowron. During this process, they turned up the first leads of the spy that had infiltrated Shadow Ops at the highest level. This, among other escapades, has gained her a small degree of fame throughout the Klingon empire. Beth was then reassigned to the Repulse, which is now normally stationed at Klingon Battlestation KB21. On her first command, she was able to destroy two Dominion Battlecruisers by phasing out the ship and dropping a tri-cobalt device on board the ship - blowing it apart from the inside out. Then, using a captured Dominion dominator warship, she lured crew from 6 nearby ships on board. Then , after detonating the captured ship, the other six ships didn't have the personnel needed for operation. This, plus catching the remaining crew on board totally off guard and unprepared, enabled the Repulse to tear them to shreds in no time. Name: Lt (jg) Ryramorl
Ra'yral* Description: His overall appearance is that of an anthropomorphic lynx. He is very muscular, and physically attractive. Has a scar on the side of his head, which detracts nothing from his rugged good looks. His normal expression is an easy-going grin. On his right arm is a series of scars running from his hand to just below his elbow. They are as follows: Three horizontal lines on the back of his hand, signifying that he has graduated from the Military Academy of the Carnoric Republic. All warriors have these. An X just above the wrist, saying that he has done something of note. About 85% of warriors wear this. A crescent moon just above the X, saying he has done something of unusual bravery and/or cunning. About 55% of warriors earn this. The picture of a tooth a little above the moon, saying that he has earned something tha more or less equates Knighthood. Only 15% of warriors ever earn this. A star above the tooth, signifying that he has earned the Order of Irontooth, the highest possible honor. Less than 3% of warriors have this scar. A long vertical line running through all the scars, signifying that he has earned them all at the same time. Ryramorl is the 1st to have done that in over 3 centuries. Off duty, he wears a pair of brown trousers made of cotton-like thread. He also has a light brown tunic made of the same material. He goes barefoot whenever possible. His attractiveness is heightened by the fact that he often forgets to wear his tunic, and goes bare-chested. He dislikes his uniform, being used to lax dress codes of the Carnoric Republic and wears his off-duty clothes whenever possible (in other words, if he can get away with it.) He wears a patch over his right eye, having lost it in a firefight on Apachok Nor Personality: His training from his homeworld combined with the lax attitude of his home makes it difficult to knuckle under authority he thinks is misguided or mistaken (he once called his own President a blundering idiot). Can be somewhat difficult to get along with, but is a loyal friend. He loves a good joke, especially a practical one. This, coupled with his skill with electronics, makes for some very interesting sabotague. His language sometimes leaves something to be desired by his superiours, but it is his enemies who get the full range of his rather colourful vocabulary. A strange survival trait in the Laranyx makes extreme pain be pleasurable to them, and Ryramorl is a masochist under torture. (Some Laranyx will find that pain acts as an aphrodisiac, and a severe torture session will have them ready for anything, as many a torturer has learned to his utter humiliation.) Ryramorl is an excellent fighter, and is often itching to get into a good scrap. History: His mother was widowed right after her honeymoon, and died in giving birth. With her dying breath, she asked her father-in-law to take care of her twin sons, and died hearing him adopting the infants as his own. Ryro'aral taught his sons the way of the plains, and also taught them various fighting techniques, some quite sophistcated, and some very dirty. The two, always testing each other and being tested by their Grandfather, melded their training into a fighting style that made them well known around the Plains. One day, Ryramorl managed to defeat his Grandfather in single combat, and was rewarded by being sent to the Military Academy of the Carnoric Republic. In school, he excelled in sports (which consisted mostly of fighting techniques and the use of weapons), and was no slouch in academics either. He had an uncanny knack for electronics, and was skilled at mechanics. Just before his graduation, one of his teachers was injured in a freak accident and kidnapped by a group of Khralors, a species know for it's absolute lack of anything that remotely resembled social organization. They had kidnapped the teacher for food, and were about to eat him alive when slingstones began to pick them off one by one. The others ignored their dead, except for those that saw the corpses as another meal. Ryramorl had pretty well killed most of the tribe, and the others were distracted by their cannibalistic gorging, when he slipped down and rescued his teacher. Suddenly, the Khralors saw him and attacked. Ryramorl held off the entire tribe, and finally managed to kill the rest of them off. But in the fight, a large gash had been opened on the side of his head, the kind that would leave a scar for life. He helped the teacher back to the Academy, and the President himself gave Ryramorl those markings at the graduation ceremonies that identified him as the greatest student to arrive at the Academy in centuries. Immediatly, the President put Ryrmorl under his personal employ. It was about this time that a derilect ship was captured and turned over to the President. The mechanics commented about the warp drive, and idea that had been bandied about, but reconstructing the engine was out of the question. The President thought about this, and decided to send Ryramorl into the Federation to gain knowledge about this Warp Drive. Using his people's only form of long distance space travel, a wormhole generator, Ryramorl came from his side of the quadrant to the Federation. Ryramorl was accepted by the Federation as something of a diplomat from his people at first. When he expressed a desire to join Starfleet, officials refused to accept his "diploma," i.e. the scars on his arm. Ryramorl finally agreed to attend Starfleet Academy, where he heard about Shadow Operations. He had difficulties adjusting to Federation customs, particularly with wearing clothing and respect for authority. He was used to testing authority, which is encouraged on his homeworld, and once got into a major fight with one of his gymn teachers. He was always getting into fights with other students (and usually winning), and the Academy was often on the verge of having him expelled. However, he managed to graduate with excellent marks. Ryramorl volunteered for Shadow Operations. It was during this time that he met Ryan Haught, who was later assigned to Ticonderoga. Ryramorl first met Ryan Haught in a martial arts contest. Having graduated from the Military Academy of the Carnoric Republic, Ryramorl has already recieved extensive training in martial arts (his native Laranyx style is so low and dirty that the Federation has banned it in competition), as well as melee weapons. He has also been born with "concealed weapons" i.e. his claws. Ryramorl ended up also being assigned to the USS Ticonderoga in early 2377.
